Leading Cultural figures honored
Austrian-American actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger receives an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Klagenfurt.
The University of Klagenfurt has awarded an honorary doctorate to Arnold Schwarzenegger, appreciating his outstanding contributions to the world of cinema, politics, and philanthropy.
Schwarzenegger expressed his gratitude for the honor, saying that he was "deeply humbled and honored" to receive the degree. He also shared his thoughts on the importance of education, saying that it is the "key to success."
The German Book Prize Shortlist is Announced
The six titles that have been nominated for the 2023 German Book Prize have been announced. The winner will be announced on October 17th.
The shortlisted titles are:
